Youth Protection

The safety of your child while involved in any Scouting activity is the Unit Leader’s number one priority.  For this reason, the BSA has created safety policies and procedures and established age-appropriate guidelines for all Scouting activities.

All Pack Leaders are BSA Youth Protection trained, and we enforce “two-deep leadership”.  As an additional measure, we are requesting that all parents and participating guardians complete Youth Protection training (a short, but comprehensive free on-line course).  To take this course or to learn more about Youth Protection, please visit the BSA web site's Youth Protection page.

For more information on training, please contact our Pack Trainer.
